Ανακοινώθηκαν οι υποψηφιότητες για την 83η τελετή των Χρυσών Σφαιρών, η οποία θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Κυριακή 11 Ιανουαρίου.
Στην παρουσίαση θα βρεθεί ξανά η Νίκι Γκλέιζερ, η οποία είχε αποσπάσει θετικές κριτικές για την εμφάνισή της στην τελετή του 2025. Η απονομή θα μεταδοθεί ζωντανά από το CBS και μέσω streaming από το Paramount+ στις ΗΠΑ. Όπως έγινε γνωστό, η Έλεν Μίρεν θα τιμηθεί με το Cecil B. DeMille Award σε ειδική εκπομπή που θα προβληθεί στις 8 Ιανουαρίου, ενώ η Σάρα Τζέσικα Πάρκερ θα λάβει το Carol Burnett Award.
Το One Battle After Another ξεχωρίζει με εννέα υποψηφιότητες, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της καλύτερης σκηνοθεσίας για τον Πολ Τόμας Άντερσον, Α΄Ανδρικού Ρόλου για τον Λεονάρντο ΝτιΚάπριο, Α’ Γυναικείου Ρόλου για την Τσέις Ινφίνιτι και Β΄ Ρόλων για τους Μπενίσιο Ντελ Τόρο, Σον Πεν και Τεγιάνα Τέιλορ. Η ταινία έλαβε επίσης υποψηφιότητες για το σενάριο του Άντερσον και τη μουσική του Τζόνι Γκρίνγουντ.
