Μηνύματα συμπαράστασης και στήριξης στην Ελλάδα, αλλά και έντονης αποδοκιμασίας κατά της ευρωπαϊκής ελίτ, και κυρίως της Γερμανίας, για την πρωτοφανή σκληρότητα κατά της χώρας μας στέλνουν οι χρήστες του twitter από την Ευρώπη, αλλά και ολόκληρο τον κόσμο.
Το hashtag #ThisIsACoup («αυτό είναι πραξικόπημα») βρίσκεται στην κορυφή του ενδιαφέροντος παγκοσμίως στο twitter, καθώς οι χρήστες του δημοφιλούς μέσου κοινωνικής δικτύωσης το κατακλύζουν με εκατομμύρια μηνύματα με τα οποία εκφράζουν την αλληλεγγύη του στην Ελλάδα και επιτίθενται στους ευρωπαίους ηγέτες, και κυρίως στην Άνγκελα Μέρκελ και τον Γερμανό ΥΠΟΙΚ Βόλφγκανγκ Σόιμπλε, με αφορμή τα όσα συμβαίνουν απόψε στις Βρυξέλλες.
Το #ThisIsACoup είναι αυτή τη στιγμή πρώτο σε Γερμανία, Ολλανδία, Ιρλανδία, ενώ στην Ελλάδα πήρε την πρώτη θέση από το #TsiprasLeaveEUsummit.
Σύμφωνα με το @twittprognosis/eu, το #ThisIsACoup («Είναι πραξικόπημα») βρίσκεται επίσης στη δεύτερη θέση στην παγκόσμια κατάταξη στην Ισπανία, την Αυστρία και το Βέλγιο και στην τρίτη στην Ιταλία.
O αναλυτής του Reuters Χιούγκο Ντίξον θεωρεί χαρακτηριστικά πως η διάδοση του hashtag δείχνει πως η Γερμανία και η Ευρωζώνη εν γένει κινδυνεύουν να χάσουν το blame game:
