Agrotica returns stronger than ever as exhibitor places already sold out

Agrotica returns to Thessaloniki from 12–15 March in a fully booked 31st edition, backed by leading bodies and strong market demand — Hosted buyer delegations from Europe and the Middle East — 11th Panhellenic Agrotica Conference

The 31st edition of Agrotica is already sold out ahead of its launch on 12 March at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Conference Center.

The International Exhibition of Agricultural Machinery, Equipment & Supplies, set to last until 15 March, enters this year’s cycle with solid guarantees of success. These include the backing of the three leading institutional bodies of the agricultural economy, Hellenic Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers (EKAGEM), Association of Machinery Importers and Representatives (SEAM), Association of Fertiliser Producers and Traders (SPEL), as well as the participation of key players from across the agricultural sector.

Demand has been intense well ahead of the opening. According to an announcement by TIF–HELEXPO, around a month and a half before the event, all indoor and outdoor exhibition spaces at the venue are already fully booked. This early sell-out, TIF–HELEXPO notes, underlines both the strong anticipation within the agricultural community and Agrotica’s status as the sector’s flagship trade fair and a major annual gathering for Greek agriculture.

The 2026 edition is expected to attract thousands of individual and organised visitors from across Greece, alongside numerous buyer delegations from the Balkans, other European countries and the Middle East. A targeted hosted buyers programme will also be implemented, aiming to boost business contacts and international trade links for exhibitors.

A highlight of the parallel programme will be the 11th Panhellenic Agrotica Conference, entitled “From the Seed of Knowledge… to the Fruit of Innovation: 100 Years of the School of Agriculture, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki”. The conference will take place on 13 and 14 March and is organised by the School of Agriculture of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in cooperation with TIF–HELEXPO, marking a century of academic contribution to Greek agricultural science.

Across four days focused on innovation, technology, entrepreneurship and international networking, this year’s Agrotica is set to bring professionals, companies and institutions from around the world closer together. The organisers conclude that this year’s exhibition will once again confirm Agrotica’s leading role in the agricultural sector and reinforce its increasingly international character.
