High-ranking executives from across Greece and the UK gathered in London on Saturday for the 31st Hellenic Engineers Association Annual Dinner and Dance, one of the most prominent events in the Greek diaspora's professional calendar.
Held at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, the black-tie event brought together senior executives from Greek, British, and international shipping companies, as well as representatives from classification societies, shipbrokers, and maritime law firms.
The evening began with a pre-dinner reception, offering guests the opportunity to network and reconnect. Organisers also hosted a raffle featuring prizes donated by supporters, and distributed a commemorative printed programme to attendees. Live entertainment and dancing followed, continuing into the early hours.

The annual gathering is a key meeting point for the London Greek shipping community and its global partners. Last year's event was attended by over 800 executives representing over 150 companies, as per the Hellenic Engineers' Society of Great Britain, which uses the event to strengthen professional ties as well as to reinforce links between the UK-based Greek maritime community and Greece's globally influential shipping sector, which remains one of the pillars of the country's economy.
